Golf is broadening its appeal in Hungary and according to the Hungarian Golf Federation there are now fourteen golf facilities in operation across the country, seven 18-hole courses. seven 9-hole layouts and a couple of driving ranges. The majority of these are set within relatively easy reach of the capital, Budapest.
at Alcsútdoboz was for a long time the premier 18-hole national course, but the emergence of the new Robert Trent Jones II course at in 2016 has eclipsed Pannonia at the top of the chart.
